• What is it and how does it work? Live Draw is a three hour event where five diverse artists draw a nude model in front of a live audience. Audience members get a rare glimpse into the the hidden world of life drawing and become part of the creative environment.
• How do I purchase art at Live Draw? Art may be purchased several different ways during the event. Live Draw sketches are priced by the artist, and they do not pay a commission to the gallery. Prices are generally between $40 – $100. and are a real bargain in the art world. To purchase, you can get the attention of any gallery representatives or speak directly to the artist and claim to your piece. You may purchase at any step in the creative process – after the work is finished and priced, while the work is being produced, or before the artist even starts.
• What does it cost? Admission price is $20.00. The event includes drinks and dinner.
• Can I talk to the artists? Absolutely, you are encouraged to interact with the artists.
• Can I bring my drawing pad? No. (Sorry!)
•All the artists mediums are archival.
